Problem z formularzem mail

Mam założone darmowe konto na hostinger.pl

Stworzyłem strone na której jest formularz kontaktowy o ile na poprzednim hostingu on działał tak teraz przestał. Proszę o wskazówke co może byc źle ?

formularz wysyła mail na moją skrzynkę na gmail.
Robię to w następujący sposób:
mail('przykladowy.mail@gmail.com', $subject, $messageBody, $headers)
gdzie:
$headers = 'From:' . 'stronka@przykladowa-domena.p.ht';
I niestety nic się nie wysyła.

A nie jest przypadkiem funkcja mail() wyłączona na serwerze (wystarczy zablokować ją w php.ini)? cale by mnie to nie zdziwiło na darmowym hostingu. W takim wypadku pozostaje Ci słać np. przez SMTP.
